Charlotte Wild

With over 15 years experience in the digital space, I work alongside project teams and clients to define and execute research activity that delivers actionable insights that shape service & product design. In addition to user research, I provide leadership & management for associates ensuring teams are happy, effective and enjoying working with Cogworx and our clients.

I’ve worn many hats throughout my career but at the heart of it, I am a people person. Whether it’s understanding what makes people tick, what they need from public services or forging long-term partnerships, I am drawn to projects and activities that enable me to connect with others.

I’ve worked in digital for over 15 years, starting in marketing & communications before evolving into service design and user research. Coming back from 6-months of backpacking, I started my career at a non-profit leisure management company, leading marketing & communications for a string of leisure centres and gyms across the Home Counties. Moving from client-side to agency in 2007, I became part of the Client Services team at Creative Jar and started working alongside Alex, Gareth and Douglas. In 2016, together we founded Cogworx and started a new journey, focusing on service and user experience design.

These days, as part of Cogworx, I enjoy a role in digital consultancy across the research and design spectrum. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed focusing my role on user research and performance analytics and have delivered for HM Courts & Tribunals Service, the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, and UK Export Finance. Leaning on my Client Services experience, I’ve led project teams for private sector clients, managing designers and researchers and helping to embed our processes, activity and people into wider multidisciplinary teams.

Outside of Cogworx, I am a keen traveller, loving nothing more than jumping on a plane or train to explore the world with my wife, normally with a book in hand. Books and films are a big love for me, with my ‘meditative’ time being spent reading or watching to calm my mind. Lacing up the walking boots, I can be found exploring the hills around Oxfordshire and beyond. It has also been claimed that I have an unhealthy obsession for trainers.
